Church libraries for children...of all ages

The US Mennonite Brethren website has a great article on church libraries for children.  Author and librarian Karen Neufeld provides thoughtful answers to questions such as:
  • Why have a church library for children?
  • What kinds of books should the children’s church library contain?
  • How does a church encourage the use of the children’s books in its library?
  • How can a church build a quality children’s library on limited funds?
Much of what she says can apply to any church library and she invites church librarians to contact her for a bibliography or to become part of an online network of church librarians.
